Logging for audit trail. Turn logging on at Setup->preferences->Data parameters set the logging to off or 8 for maximum logging. Theres a example trigger on the users table that can also be used on anny other table to log inserts / deletes / updates. At access control there is also a report button that will show the trail between a time frame.
Auto pos logout. If the auto pos logout interval is set (in seconds) at the pos setup the pos closes after X seconds of inactivity. And yoiu must relogin or the set of books will close.
